Students who choose the Arts or Humanities stream study subjects like History, Geography, Political Science, Bengali, English, etc. This stream opens up career opportunities in teaching, journalism, law, social work, and administration. Many students prepare for civil service examinations from this stream and become high-ranking government officials. Moreover, students from this stream also play an important role in literature, culture, and media fields.
Apart from these, there are various technical and vocational courses available after secondary education, such as ITI, Polytechnic, Hotel Management, Fashion Designing, Animation, etc. These courses help students acquire practical skills in a short period and increase the chances of getting a job quickly.
